No recipe today, just a quick idea for packaging up those food gifts!
Kraft boxes are one of my favorite ways to package things up. Don't buy them from that website unless you need a huge quantity, but you can usually find them on Etsy, Amazon, and at your local craft stores, too. And they're pretty cheap. They come in a good variety of sizes and colors, which makes them ideal for gifting. I'm a fan of the "natural" color because you can dress it up or down with decorations. You can wrap them up, decorate with stamps, or leave it as is. Lots of options.
My favorite way to use these is to line the inside with a bit of wax paper or parchment, fill with cookies or candy, tie it up with some baker's twine, and add some herb or plant-based "garnish." This time, I chose rosemary because I love the smell, but you could use a pine branch, winterberry, any other herb that won't wilt too quickly, flowers...you get it. You can be as fancy or as un-fancy as you'd like!
